Standing with Nagomi Salon Magokoro in Fukushima
Following the Great East Japan Earthquake, a community gathering place called Nagomi Salon Magokoro was established in the Kashima district of Minamisoma City, Fukushima Prefecture, for people who had been living in temporary housing.
The salon provides opportunities for residents to spend time together in a positive and welcoming environment. Participants create handmade crafts such as hanging hina dolls and small decorative straps, and enjoy conversation with one another.
azuma supports these activities in the hope that everyone who gathers there can spend their days with a little more comfort, connection, and encouragement.

Welfare Partnership Programs
Contributing to Society Through Support for Independent Living
azuma has long believed that supporting the independence of people with disabilities is one meaningful way to contribute to society.
Since 1980, we have worked with Tenryu Koseikai, and since 1990 with Nearai Workshop of Hamamatsu Kyodo Gakusha.
In the latter half of 2008, as Japan's economic slowdown reduced the amount of contract work available to welfare facilities, azuma expanded its “Osouji Eraser” melamine-sponge series and further strengthened its partnerships with these organizations. At the same time, we began working with Tenryu Work Campus, another facility operated by Tenryu Koseikai.

Support for the Japan Guide Dog Association
azuma donates cleaning products to the Japan Guide Dog Association.
Since 2008, we have provided annual donations of brooms, dustpans, detergents, and other cleaning supplies to guide dog training centers throughout Japan.
We are grateful to have received photographs and messages of thanks from staff members at the training centers.
About the Donations
Each year, azuma donates the products requested by the Japan Guide Dog Association from our cleaning product range.
