Personal Information Protection Policy
1. Our Philosophy on the Protection of Personal Information
Through the manufacture of cleaning products and household goods, the Company conducts its corporate activities together with all of its customers, suppliers, and society at large. In order to handle all personal information entrusted to us properly and securely, we have established this Personal Information Protection Policy as the standard of conduct to be observed by all directors and employees, and we will work to ensure thorough compliance with it.
2. Compliance with Laws and Other Norms
The Company will comply with the laws and regulations governing the handling of personal information, with guidelines established by the national government, and with other applicable norms, and will handle personal information appropriately.
3. Establishment and Continuous Improvement of a Personal Information Protection Management System
In order to handle personal information appropriately, the Company will appoint a Personal Information Protection Manager and establish an internal management framework for the protection of personal information. The Company will also establish a Personal Information Protection Management System (PMS) that conforms to JIS Q 15001:2023 (“Personal information protection management systems — Requirements”). Furthermore, we will implement, audit, and continuously improve the management system thus established.
4. Collection and Use of Personal Information
When the Company collects personal information, we will state the purpose of use and whether the information will be provided to third parties in advance, and we will collect such information only after obtaining the individual's consent. We will also use personal information only within the scope necessary to achieve the stated purpose of use, and will take measures to prevent any use beyond that purpose.
5. Provision of Personal Information
When the Company entrusts all or part of the handling of the personal information it has collected to an outside party, or provides such information to a third party, we will select parties that meet a sufficient level of protection and will take appropriate measures by way of contract and other means.
6. Security Management of Personal Information
The Company will implement reasonable safeguards to prevent the leakage, loss, or damage of personal information, as well as corrective measures for remediation when necessary.
1. Physical Safeguards
- Entry and exit management
- Assigning security levels and controlling entry to and exit from premises and rooms accordingly
- Prevention of theft and similar incidents
- Facility management and similar measures to prevent the theft or loss of equipment, electronic media, and documents that contain personal data
- Physical protection of equipment and devices
- Critical information equipment (such as server hardware, communication control devices, and firewalls) is installed in a dedicated server room to ensure security
- Where installation in a server room is not feasible, equipment is stored in a locked rack, secured with a locking-mechanism chain, or otherwise protected by equivalent measures
2. Technical Safeguards
- Network management
- Creating, managing, and maintaining network configuration diagrams
- Implementing measures to prevent intrusion from external networks such as the internet
- Collecting and reviewing access logs for connections from external networks into the internal network, and operating antivirus monitoring systems
- Requiring reporting and approval for connections to the internal network, carried out in accordance with established conditions
- Identification and authentication for access to personal information
- Authentication via user IDs and passwords
- Access control for personal information
- The number of employees granted access rights to personal information is kept to the minimum necessary, and identifiers are not shared
- Management of access privileges to personal information
- Appropriate and periodic management of the authorizations granted to those permitted to access personal information
- Recording of access to personal information
- Records of successful and failed access to, and operations on, personal information are obtained and appropriately retained
- The records obtained are appropriately protected against leakage, loss, and damage
3. Human Safeguards
- Conclusion of non-disclosure agreements at the time of employment contracts and when contracting with outside parties
- Implementation of awareness initiatives, education, and training for all personnel
7. Response to Complaints and Consultations
The Company will respond appropriately to complaints and consultations regarding the handling of personal information. We will also respond without undue delay to requests from individuals regarding their personal information, including notification of the purpose of use, disclosure, correction, addition or deletion of content, suspension of use, erasure, and suspension of provision to third parties.

Handling of Personal Information
1. Collection and Purpose of Use
azuma Industrial Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, “the Company”) will collect personal information by lawful and fair means, and will not collect such information by any improper method.
The Company will use the personal information it has collected only within the scope necessary to achieve the purposes of use set out below, and will not use such information for any purpose other than those listed below without the individual's consent.
The provision of personal information by the individual is voluntary; please note, however, that the Company may be unable to provide appropriate services if such information is not provided.
Purposes of Use of Personal Information
- To carry out operations relating to the receipt and provision of home-cleaning services
- To respond to requests for the shipment of the Company's products
- To respond to inquiries concerning the Company's business and to requests for materials
- To provide information and support relating to the Company's services
- To provide information on the Company's new products and sales promotions
- To confirm payments and receipts related to the Company's services
- To handle responses to applicants in connection with the Company's recruitment and hiring decisions
2. Disclosure and Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
Except in the following cases, the Company will not disclose or provide the personal information entrusted to it to any third party without the individual's prior consent:
- When entrusting the handling of personal information to a contractor with which the Company has a contractual relationship, within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use
- When disclosing the necessary information to a delivery provider for the purpose of shipping materials, deliverables, and the like, within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use
- When required by law
- When the Company receives and responds to a formal, lawful request from a court, the police, or another public authority >
3. Disclosure Requests and Response to Complaints and Consultations
The Company will respond appropriately to complaints and consultations regarding its handling of personal information and its Personal Information Protection Management System. With respect to requests from individuals concerning their personal information—including notification of the purpose of use, disclosure, correction, addition or deletion of content, suspension of use, erasure, and suspension of provision to third parties—the Company will, after confirming the identity of the individual, respond promptly.
